These are auxiliary furniture to make more comfortable any informal meals on the sofa, writing to friends, or reading the newspaper. It’s a collection of coffee tables with a top that can be easily slid and elevated, making accessible an interior space/drawer. The Gavina table incorporates a new typological concept of coffee table that can be lifted with a simple handling. The structure was made of cherry wood, the tops in cherry wood veneered board. The lids were made in a rhombus shape following the marquetry technique.
